Accepting sealed bids for a 1999 Dodge Ram 2wd pickup. Vehicle will be sold “AS IS”. Bids are due in to the village office by January 8th @ 3:00 pm. Bids will be opened at 5:00 pm January 8th. The Village Council will discuss bids at the January 8th council meeting. Please download and fill out the Sealed Bid Form to place your bid. Contact DPW Director Mitch Terpening @ (517) 404-7871 between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday – Friday for inspection.

ORDINANCE NO: 247-10

A person shall not park a vehicle upon a street between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 6: a.m. within the Business district of the Village of Bancroft, from November 1 ^st thru March 3 1 ^st except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the law or the directions of a police officer.

• A person who is found to be in violation of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of $10.00 and / or have said vehicle towed away at the owner’s expense.
• A person who is found to be in violation of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Municipal Civil Infraction.
• Business district shall be defined as Main St. from Sprague St. to Robinson St. and Warren St. from Beach St. to Shiawassee St.

ROAD CLOSURE

Where: Grand River at the railroad tracks. The detour will use Lansing, Lemon, Payne and Maple however Main and Shiawassee through town will remain open.

When: Thursday 10/03/2019 and possibly Friday 10/04/2019 depending on weather conditions.

Why: To make repairs to the tracks at Grand River Rd.

PLEASE OBSERVE 25 MPH SPEED LIMIT IN TOWN
